Mixed media is simply combining a variety of different materials in the creation of a final work of art; Yes art!
Materials used are endless, paint, paper, cardboard, color mediums, stamps, stencils, texture paste, embossing mediums, recycled paper and of course your unique imagination and expression.
Explore techniques to build backgrounds, collage additional layers, add color highlights and textures, images or text; you may decide to remove materials to reveal the under layers of your created piece which and add additional texture
Discover:
- Distress ink blending and layering
- Adding additional texture with texture paste, stencils, spray inks
- Use and application of assorted mediums & texture tools
- Adding assorted (often eclectic) collage pieces
